Sie finden unsere Galerie in diesem Jahr an einem neuen Standort: Halle 2.0 Stand A9, in der Nähe des Haupteingangs.

Kernstück der diesjährigen Messepräsenz ist das Werk Untitled 1989 von Donald Judd. Es wurde 1989 in der Schweiz von der Aluminium Menziken AG hergestellt. Mit Untitled 1989 kreierte der Künstler erstmals jenen Werktypus der 1989 mit den 12 «Baden-Baden pieces» ausformuliert wurde. Diese bedeutende Werkgruppe bildete die Ausstellung Donald Judd in der Kunsthalle Baden-Baden vom 27.08 – 15.10.1989. 1990 war Untitled 1989 Teil der Einzelausstellung des Künstlers im Kunstmuseum St. Gallen.

Donald Judd (1928-1994)

Zeitgleich zeigen wir in der Galerie in Zürich die Ausstellung Donald Judd (1928-1994). Sie bildet den Schwerpunkt unseres Kunstjahres 2019 und wir feiern mit ihr 50 Jahre Annemarie Verna Galerie. Diese Ausstellung ist auch während der Art Basel von Dienstag bis Samstag, jweils von 14 bis 18 Uhr geöffnet.
