This year our gallery will be found at a new location: Hall 2.0 Stand A9, near the main entrance.
The centerpiece of our fair presentation is the 1989 work Untitled by Donald Judd. It was produced in Switzerland in 1989 by Aluminium Menziken AG. With Untitled 1989, the artist created the first example of the work type that was further elaborated in 1989 with the twelve “Baden-Baden pieces”.
This important group of works was featured in the exhibition Donald Judd at Kunsthalle Baden-Baden from August 27 – October 15, 1989. In 1990, Untitled 1989 was part of the solo exhibition of the artist at Kunstmuseum St. Gallen.
At the same time, we will be showing the exhibition Donald Judd (1928–1994) at the gallery in Zurich. It forms the focal point of our 2019 art calendar as we celebrate 50 years of the Annemarie Verna Galerie. This exhibition is open during Art Basel from Tuesday to Saturday, 2 to 6 pm.
